SPRING FORWARD


As spring is getting close, how are you preparing to spring forward? Many people consider spring to be the perfect time to change wardrobes and get ready for barbeque and grilling. With so much happening in the world, from the banks crashing and the stock market changing, reporters are saying that this could affect the livelihood of many.

We want to remind you that although this may be occurring remember that the best way to prevent depression and anxiety is to focus on the good things that you have going on. Staying unfocused of negativity does not allow your mind to settle in things and situations that can cause you to not want to push forward on your life journey.

As you spring forward, look on the bright side of life and focus on all the good that life offers. Despite the shifting and transitioning focus on what you can do in the present moment to work on becoming a better you.

Your Focus List can be the following:

  • Creating a new routine of exercising especially on the warm days.

  • Thoughtfully plan healthy meals and snacks.

  • Meditating and Journaling

  • Be intentional about doing positive things for you; more like self-care regimens.

  • Be intentional about not overloading yourself with work that can be done in increments.

  • Refrain from anything and anyone who causes you to focus on more negativity than positivity.

Spring forward and do what is healthy for you. You only have one life to live, and you need you!!!
